THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK

“In that day— “Sing about a fruitful vineyard:”  Isaiah 27:2 NIV

Isn’t it wonderful to sing about the love of God and the work He is doing in the church of Jesus Christ?

We have had some wonderful times of worship over the last months. There have been times when we have been lost in the Spirit and others when our joy bubbled up and couldn’t be contained.

“In that day” is now in these times. There is a wave of worship and praise rolling over the church - we are loving every minute of it and long for more.

This Sunday at church, we had a new lady. Sadly, her church is closing so she is looking for somewhere new to settle. She seemed at home with us and when I asked her if she had enjoyed the meeting, she said she loved the spirit of worship amongst us. The draw of God is in the worship.

What a privilege it is to sing. What access to God when we lift our voices in praise and glorify His name. We are blessed with the rich anointing of the Holy Spirit and through it we all bring a blessing to others. Best of all, we give pleasure to our Father in heaven.

Are you struggling these days? Do worry, anxiety, fear, and depression eat away at you? Then come, sing and find the blessing that awaits. If you cannot sing in church, then sing on your own, lifting your face to heaven. This is what happens when you do:

“They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed.” Psalms 34:5 NKJV
